Back sacadas bring a dynamic and expressive element to tango, but executing them with precision requires more than just displacement—it demands control, timing, and a deep understanding of technique. This 8-week course is designed to break down the mechanics of back sacadas, helping you integrate them seamlessly into your dance while maintaining balance, connection, and flow.
Throughout the course, we will refine essential skills such as torsions, pivots, and over-pivoting without disrupting your partner’s axis. You’ll learn to walk fluidly in an overturned position, manage timing and movement delay, and develop the confidence to introduce back sacadas effortlessly in improvisation. By the end of the series, you will not only have a strong technical foundation but also the ability to execute back sacadas with precision, musicality, and style.
