Once you have the basics of Argentine Tango down, it’s time to work on developing your skills. Our tango practice sessions do just that.

Practica Chiquita is guided, which means there are instructors present who will advise you on what to practice and how to practice.
NOTE: Instructors are under no obligation to dance with you. Their duty is to guide, which means – giving you feedback and suggestions on how you can improve your skills. If you have questions – please ask.

Although the Tango Codigos are respected, it is also OK to simply ask for practice time or approach someone to simply ask questions about technique, steps, musicality, navigation, and codes.

However, please be respectful and do not monopolize other dancers’ time. Just like you, they came to practice. It’s not OK to force someone to dance more than one tanda with you if it’s obvious they want to spend time working on their dance.

If you are a first-timer or visiting guest from another studio or another area – please introduce yourself to the instructors. If you do not wish for feedback, clearly state it. This is a working practica, not a casual Milonga with lights on.
