Join us for the late autumn edition of Vida Mia, featuring special guest teacher and DJ Marcelo Gutierrez! Indulge in a night of dancing to Marcelo’s expertly curated tandas, warm embraces, and an atmosphere alive with joy and connection. Marcelo will also, together with me, lead a special pre-milonga worskhop, see below, – don’t miss it! More about Marcelo below.

7:30pm – 8:30pm: “Milonga Groove” special pre-milonga workshop with Marcelo
8:30pm – 12:30am: Milonga, DJ Marcelo, yummy refreshments

$40 class + milonga; $20 milonga only, $25 class only.
Full-Time Students with ID and guests who travel long distance (more than 30 miles): $35 class + milonga / $15 milonga only

ABOUT MARCELO: Marcelo Gutierrez belongs to a unique and fortunate generation of tango professionals who “came of age” just as tango reached a pivotal moment and experienced a renewal in the 2000s. He had the privilege of studying with legendary old-school masters like the Dinzels, Nito and Elba, the Rivarolas, Teresa Fernández (from the Todaro system), and Victor Arne. At the same time, he was a part of the tango revolution started by Gustavo Naveira, which led to the emergence of Tango Nuevo. Marcelo has since dedicated himself to developing and perfecting a teaching method for which he is widely respected. His system emphasizes stability, groundedness, comfort, natural body movement, core engagement, and organic leading and following.
